Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Fresco: Cook Smart app ("Fresco", "we") handles information. In short, Fresco has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. Your preferences stay on your device.

Information stored on your device

The following is saved only in the app's local storage on your device and is not sent to our servers:

• Your quiz answers: number of people, time available, budget and dietary preferences
• Ingredients you mark as being in your fridge
• Your favorite recipes and weekly meal plan
• Whether you've seen the subscription screen and your subscription status

Deleting the app removes all of this data.

Recipe catalog

The app downloads its recipe catalog (recipes, ingredients and steps) from our backend provider, Supabase. These requests do not include your personal data. As with any internet request, Supabase may briefly process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the content.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID that it generates, your purchase and transaction history, and basic device data (such as OS version, app version, country/storefront and language). Photos

The optional "Photo of food" feature is currently turned off. If we enable it in a future version, you will choose a photo yourself and it will be sent for ingredient recognition only. We will update this policy before that happens.

Voice

Cook mode reads steps aloud using your device's built-in text-to-speech. Fresco does not use the microphone and does not record audio.

What we don't do

• No advertising and no ad SDKs
• No third-party analytics or cross-app tracking (we do not use the IDFA)
• We do not sell or share personal data

Children

Fresco is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights and deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time. See Delete your data. To request deletion of RevenueCat purchase records, or for any privacy question, email ulykbek.90beka@gmail.com.
